Movie Night

It's friday, which means it is challnege day over at Flaunt it Fridays. The challenge today is to use any cut from the Robotz cartridge. I decided to use my very favorite thing from that cartridge the FONT!! Don't get me wrong, I love the robots, they are really cute, but I think the font rocks :) Here is a simple layout I made, using this font.

I am so far behind with my scrapbooking!! The baby in these pictures is now 5 1/2!! The page is about a Family Movie night we had when Cars first came out. It was a surprise for my son, and as you can see from the pictures, he was happy!

So come on over, play along with us! Have fun with the Robotz font :)

Flaunting Tigger

It is challenge day over at Flaunt It Fridays. The challenge today is to cut Tigger and the Ducky from the Pooh Font Cartridge. I love this cartridge! I think those little characters are so cute, and I really like the fonts too. Here is what I came up with:

I have been really missing my scrapbooking, and was excited to create a scrapbooking page for this project. I think it turned out really cute too! I used the font from the same cartridge, and I used the George and Basic Shapes to cut the photo mats. I think it turned out really cute :)

Tacky Tuesday

I was so excited that I got to be a guest designer this past week for Tacky Tuesday, a Monthly challenge that my gifted and talented friend Ruthie co-hosts at her blog September Ninth. The challenge this month is to cut a car, any car. There are two options for the sentiment. You can either use the word "roll" or the word "wheel". Here is what I came up with:

I wanted to make a girly car, so I chose the car from Paisley. The paper is all from CTMH, and the stamp has a typo in it :) What are you going to do?

I am really behind with my blog posts, this was supposed to be on Tuesday, and my Cricut Cardz Challenge card is late too... So here is my plan to catch up - tomorrow I will post my Flaunt it Friday DT submission, Saturday or Sunday, I will put my CCC card. Then I will be caught up :) Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Paper Playtime

Oh my, I have been a bad crafter and a bad blogger lately. Life seems to be constantly getting in the way :( I keep saying I will try to get better, and then, somehow, I just don't... hopefully soon. Anywho, it is Monday, which means it's Paper Playtime day. The challenge this week was to come up with a TALL card. here is what I did:

Cute eh? The owls are from a Cornish Farm Stamp Set that I have been eyeing for a while, and just picked up last week. They are colored with my SU markers - I am not thrilled with the coverage, so next time I might try my Prismacolors... The paper is a mix of SU and CTMH, with the patterned paper from CTMH.

I hope you all pop over to Paper Playtime, see what the Queens came up with, and play along with us. There is a great prize this week, a My Pink Stamper set of stamps, so come on out and play!!

Life's a Beach

Wow it has been a crazy couple of weeks! Somehow my crafting time and blogging have really been suffering. I am going to try to get back on track. In the meantime, it is challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge. The challenge today is to make a beach card. It has been miserable here in Nova Scotia, so it was nice to imagine that summer is coming. Here is what I came up with today:

Cute, eh? This card is 5x5. There is a 4.25x4.25 square layer. Each of the little images is mounted on a 2x2 square. The 4 images are cut from Create a Critter - I love that cartridge :) They are cut at 1.9 inches wide on my Gypsy, so they are varying heights. The stamp is from Simply Sweet Stamps. It was so nice to get back into crafting today! I hope to do it again soon. I have been really missing it...

Hop on over to Cricut Cardz Challenge, see what the design team came up with, and play along with us!
