A Blog Hop and Teacher Gift

It is just after midnight here, and I have just finished 2 projects. The first is a little teacher gift I made for my son's teacher, as tomorrow is the last day of school, the other is my project for an upcoming Canada Day Blog Hop. What better way to get back in the swing of things, than with a blog hop??

There are some really amazing artists who will be participating, and there are going to be some awesome prizes, so I hope you all come check out our patriotic hop tomorrow - July 1st. I love my project, and am really excited to share it with you!!

Have a BBQ!

It's Wednesday!! That means it's challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge. Today Mary challenged us to come up with a Cook out or Picnic themed card. One of my favorite things about summer is the BBQ, so I decided to make a card to invite some friends over to a BBQ! Here it is:

Isn't it adorable?? I love how this card turned out. I used Simply charmed to cut the hamburger and hotdog. I cut the burger at 2.5 inches and the hotdog at 2 inches. The cutie face stamps are from Peachy Keen - love them!! The sentiment stamp, which I cut in half (gasp!!) so it would fit on the page, is from MFT. The paper is all Stampin Up, the ribbon is form Michales and I used my black and white Gel pens for all the stitching.

I hope you all hop over to CCC and play along with us :)

Some challenges:

Hopefully back...

Well here I am! finally back online. We have had 2 week with no internet - that was fun - and my life has been chaotic at best. Although I have managed to get my design team responsiblities fulfilled, I have NOT been a good blogger! But I'm back.

Today's card - which was supposed to be posted yesterday - is Paper Playtime's Challenge for the next 2 weeks. The challenge is to use your country's colors (in my case Red and White) and a digi on a card:

The digi is from Praire Fairy and the paper is SU and CTMH.

Tomorrow I will be back with my Cricut Cardz Challenge post, and some info about a Canada Day blog hop I am taking part in. Happy to be back :)
