Here is my project for this challenge:

Isn't it cute?  I made this as a birthday card for my brother in law's girlfriend.  She is a little bit of a shoe lover.  I love the embossing on the shoes - I always forget to use embossing on the die cuts in the card - I seem to only use it as a background.    Isn't the sentiment the perfect touch?  The paper is mostly from recollections, but I think the patterned paper is from Creative Memories.  The ribbon is from my LSS, and I think it is stunning!

Come play with us!

Falloween - Cardz TV Stamps

Happy Friday everyone!   This is my second project today.  If you are looking for my Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges Night Project, it is HERE.  It is challenge day at Cardz TV Stamps.  Mary challenged us to create a Fall or Halloween layout, card or project.  Here is what I came up with:

Isn't it cute??!!  I am so in love with these Teedy Bears!!  This little guy was originally intended to be a Christmas Bear.  His hat is supposed to have holly and he is holding a cup of hot chocolate.  I know that here on the east coast, fall is "Sweater Weather" - it is my favorite thing about the season, pulling out all my sweaters and long sleeved shirts,  so I decided to make my bear an Autumn Bear.  I cut him at 3 1/2 in some great autumn colors.  The two little leaves are from Doodlecharms.  The cardstock and ribbon is all from Michael's.  The patterned paper is from my scrapbox - I'm afraid I have no clue who made it...  The perfect sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps "Fall Fun", you can buy yours right HERE.

I hope you all swing by Cardz TV, see waht the talented design team came up with, and play along with us.  You have until next Thursday to join in on the fun, and one lucky person will win the Cardz TV Stamp set of their choice!

Be sure to pop back tomorrow, I will have another cute card for this challenge, using one of the other amazing sentiments from Fall Fun!

As you can see, I decided not to go the spooky route.  I must admit,  I'm feeling a bit Halloweened out...  The tag is from Plantin Schoolbook.  I cut the little cutie from Baby Steps.  The card stock is a mix of Recollections and stuff from my scrapbox.  In retrospect, I wish I had made her bow and sleeper a bit of a brighter pink, but she's still really cute :)  The patterned paper is old Creative Memories  - I have had it in my stash for about 8 years - hmmm...  I think I may have a paper problem...

Welcome to Boo-ville

Happy Monday everyone!  I just realized that I completely forgot to post this - oops :)  It is challenge day over at Paper Playtime.  Today's challenge is welcome to Booville!  Here is what I came up with:

So, I saw THIS idea on Splitcoast Stamper, and Knew I needed to create one myself!  I started by tearing some ivory card stock, which I inked with my Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.  I used a black piece of paper at 4 x 5 1/4 to adhere it all too, and then cut the pieces down to size and inked to outer edges.  Easy peasey!  The googly eyes are from Michael's.  The "boo" sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Spooky Puns.

This week we are sponsored by Mary from Cardz TV Stamps.  The lucky winner will get to pick their favorite set from her amazing stamps!  So, be sure to pop over, see what the Disgn Divas came up with and play along fro the chance to win some FABULOUS stamps!!

Welcome to the Monster Mash Blog Hop, brought to you by the design teams of Made Especially For You and Exploring Cricut!

Today the design teams of Made Especially For You and Exploring Cricut have teamed up to share with you all sorts of spooktacular monster-themed projects to help get your crafty gears turning for all those upcoming Halloween projects!

If you've come from Annette's blog, you're in the right place! If you just came across the hop and would like to start at the beginning, please visit Ashley at Made Especially For You.

For my project, I created a little banner for my son's bedroom door.  Here it is:

Isn't it cute?   I created this on my Gypsy Girl, which makes it so easy to weld my letters together.  The letters are from Mickey Font.  The monsters are both cut from Mini Monsters.  I started by cutting the shadows out of old Cheerios boxes to give it some sturdiness.  I find that 3 layers of Cheerios boxes gives me the perfect strength.  The shadows were all cut out of creamy paper, and then it was just a matter of layering the monsters on.  I decided I wanted to use googly eyes on my project, I think it makes them look so cute!  I found a bag of eyes at Michael's, and it had some really big googly eyes that were just perfect.  Some doodling and some ribbon and we are done!  It was a really quick project to make, and I think it's cute!

We also have some wonderful sponsors giving away prizes to those who comment on every stop of the hop!

Cricut Cardz - Anything Goes

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Cricut Cardz Challenge.  Today Mary gave us an Anything Goes Challenge - I love anything goes challenges!!  So, funny story... one of my fellow DT sister's and I created cards with the same cricut image - what are the odds??  I decided, that with all the cricut images to choose from, I should try to choose a different one.  So this is the card I decided to use instead:

Isn't it cute?   The snail is from Birthday Bash, and the mat that she is sitting on is from Elegant Edges.  I used the Elegant Edges cut to make this a Gatefold Card.  I took a class at my LSS a few months ago, on gatefold cards, but owning no Spellbinder dies, I figured out a way to make them with my Cricut.  Pretty cool, eh?

The patterned paper is from Stampin Up and the card stock is from Michael's.  The sentiment is from Joys Life's Lot of Pun Stamps, I think it's just perfect for this cute little card!

I hope you all hop over to Cricut Cardz Challenge, see what the DT came up with and play along with us.  There might be a prize for a lucky winner...

Happy Tuesday everyone!   This past weekend was Thanksgiving here in Canada, so I decided to make a card for my parents.  Here is what I came up with:

Isn't that adorable??  This sweet little turkey is from Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Lite cartridge, my new favorite cartridge.  He is cut at 3 1/2 inches.  The patterned paper and some of the card stock are from Stampin Up, the other card stock and the ribbon are from Michael's.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot's Happy Fall set - isn't that sentiment perfect with the card?

A challenge or two for my cute little turkey:
