Luck of the Irish - Cardz TV Stamps

Happy Friday everyone!  It is challenge day over at Cardz TV!  I love these days, because I get to play with Mary's amazing stamps - I can always find the perfect sentiment, not matter the challenge!  Today Mary challenged us to create a St Patrick's Day project featuring SHAMROCKS or a LEPRECHAUN.  Here is what I came up with:

Now, is that not the cutest leprechaun EVER??  I can not express how much I love the Teddy Bear Parade cartridge!  I think it is such a cute cartridge, and it make me really happy to make projects with it.  I cut this cutie and all his pieces at 3 1/2 inches.  The card stick is all from Michaels and the patterned paper is VERY old creative Memories from my stash.  I put some gold Stickles on the the gold in his pot, but now that I look at it, I think I may put another layer or two on - it's not quite blingy enough.  The little back gems are from the Dollorama.  I decided to stamp the sentiment on a tag - the punch along with it's shadow are  from Stampin Up.  The perfect sentiment is from Cardz TV's "It's All About You" set. It's one of my favorites, and you can find your own HERE.

Our challenge starts today, and ends Thursday March 7th at noon EST.  The winner will gets a set of Cardz TV stamps of their very own.  Hop on over to Cardz TV, see what all my talented DT sisters came up with to inspire you, and play along with us.  One lucky person will win a set of Cardz TV Stamps of their very own.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Paper Bag Mini

Happy Friday everyone!  I have a special treat for you today, I have done my first ever video!  I am part of a group on Facebook called Play Along, and we create the same project at the same time, sharing our creations with each other.

The first project I made, is a paper bag mini album, based on a series of video tutorials from my fellow Cardz TV Stamps design team member Ginger of My Sisters Scrapper.  I figured a video was the best way to share my creation.  I hope you enjoy!

I actually had a really good time doing the video, I may just have to make another one - at least once I figure out how to free up both my hands :)

Here is a quick peek at the album, but be sure to go to the video to get all the details!

Swimming Lessons

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over at the Exploring Cricut blog.  You may remember, that last week I shared a swimming layout I made using Teddy Bear parade - love that cartridge!!  Almost all of my layouts are 2 page spreads, so I decided to make a second page.  Here it is:

Cute, isn't it??  It matches wondefully with the first page I made.  The teddy is cut from Teddy Bear Parade at 3 1/2 inches.  The title is from Robotz.  The patterned paper is all from CTMH and the cardstock is a mix of Recollections and CTMH.   The buttons are from Walmart and the twine I used to tie them up with is from Doodlebug.

Again, I decided to stamp on my layout - I wante to make sure they matched...  I used Mary's "A Day at the Beach" stamp set on both the box with the bear, and the journaling box. You can buy your own set HERE.

Don't forget that every day, each one of the designers has a Cricut creation to share with you.  We hope to inspire you to explore your Cricut cartridges and have lots of fun doing it!!  Be sure to pop by the blog everyday and be prepared to be amazed!

Border Punches - Paper Playtime

Happy Monday everyone!

It's challenge day over at Paper Playtime.  Today, Janis challenged us to make a project showcasing BORDER PUNCHES!!  Here is what I came up with:

Saturday was my baby girl's 7th birthday.  She had a Barbie party.  When I was browsing Pinterest for ideas I saw THIS and decided that I needed to recreate her on my Gypsy girl.  I took a rectangle from George and Basic Shapes, and two scalloped circles from Elegant Edges and welded them together to make the base of my card.  I made a belly band to hold it closed and used EK Success's "Dotted Scallop Edge Puncher" to pretty up the edge.  Isn't it fancy?  The word Barbie is from Gypsy Font - welded on my Gypsy girl.

She was inviting 5 little girls, so I made 6, including one for her.  The pink cardstock is from Bazzil, the black and white are from Recollections.  The striped pink and white paper is also from Recollections.  I cut the "Barbie" silhouette out of Forever Young - she isn't exactly Barbie, but I figure she's close enough!  There is some pink ribbon from SU separating the striped paper from the white part of the invitation.  I printed the invite itself on the computer.

Be sure to peek back, because I will have a few other things from the party to share with everyone!  Please hop over to Paper Playtime, see what the rest of the Design Divas came up with, and play along with us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

As you can see, I am continuing with my theme of Christmas tags.  This tag is from TTBM.  The cutie reindeer is from CAC2.  The card stock is all from Recollections, and the patterned paper came from a stack I bought at my LSS a few years ago - honestly I'm not sure who's paper it is.  I did some doodling around with my Sakura Jelly Roll pens.   The ribbon is all from Michael's.

The cute little sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.  It was the perfect size for my little tag.
