For You

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Today Miss Janis, challenged us to create an ANYTHING GOES project.  Here is what I created.

Isn't it cute?  I love weather stamps and sentiments, and this sun just makes me happy.  I used a bunch of CDD products to create this cute tag.  The base is the Tag Essentials Die.  The sun is from The Sky is the Limit die and stamp set and the sentiment is from "Short and Sweet Tags".  You can find all of these things in the Craftin Desert Diva shop HERE.

I hope you all play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Happy Fall Y'All

Happy Saturday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

I am SO excited for fall to arrive!  It is my favorite time of year.  I love the cool days, the sweater weather and the leaves changing colours.

I found these very cute acorn faces, and loved the idea of them all on the same card!  You can find them HERE.  I embossed the area behind the acorns with a wood grain embossing folder and love the textured look it gives the card.

The cute sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas "Hey Pumpkin" set.  It has some really cute sentiments on it, and is available in her shop.

Be sure to pop by the PPPR blog every day for some cute inspiration from all my fellow Design Team Divas!

ARGH!!  Happy Saturday everyone!!  Welcome to the Shiver Me Timbers Blog Hop, featuring files from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  If you are here from Melissa's blog, then you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled on my post, then you should start back at Lisa's blog so you don't miss any of the great Pirate Projects!!

The first project I created uses one of the cute freebies available during this hop:

Isn't it ca-ute?!?  I love this adorable Pirate Octopus.  He came together so easily.  The sentiment is from CTV Stamps "A Day at the Beach".

On to project number 2 - and it uses another fabulous freebie!!  This week's freebie over at PPPR is an awesome shaped card:

Here it is opened:

Isn't it perfect?  I decided to emboss the wood on the chest with a wood grain embossing folder, I love the texture it gives to the card.  The sentiment is from CTV Stamps "Good Times" set.  I think it's going to make a really cute birthday card for one of Andrew's friends.

There is some great  Blog Candy!!  For starters, two - count em two freebies - one Saturday and one on Sunday, so be sure to pick them up!  AND one luck commenter will win a $15 gift certificate to Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  For extra chances you can like PPPR on Facebook and sign up for the PPPR Newsletter.

This blog hop, also signals the start of a NEW CHALLENGE!!  It is pirate themed, so link up any pirate project featuring a PPPR cutting file by October 3rd, and you could win a $20 gift certificate to PPPR.  Link up HERE.

The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Nicole!!

Get Well

Happy Friday everyone!  It's challenge day over at PDE Linky Parties.  Today Miss Janis, challenged us to create a GET WELL project.  Here is what I created.

Sometimes, simple is the right thing, and I love this simple card.  I embossed the upper portion with a Cuttlebug Folder, and stamped my Craftin Desert Diva sentiment on the bottom.  A ribbon adds the perfect finishing touch.

I hope you all play along with us!  I can't wait to see what you created!

Thanks Nerd!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  It is my day to share a project over on the PPPR blog.  I am so excited to show you the project I created with Lisa's cute files!!

Isn't it ca-ute??  I used one of the adorable beakers from the new Science Lab cutting files.  I created a shape card in my Silhouette Design Studio - I love being able to do that!  I think all of the cute beakers could easily be made into shape cards.  I should do that....

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps "Adorkable" stamps set.  I just picked it up a few months ago, and LOVE it!!

Be sure to pop by the PPPR blog every day for some cute inspiration from all my fellow Design Team Divas!
